Let’s Get Visual: A Dynamic Visual Merchandising Session on Tuesday May 14, 2019
Gloucester Main Street. The Downtown. The Gloucester Village. Gloucester Courthouse.
Whatever you call this historic retail corridor in the heart of the Middle Peninsula, one thing is for certain – there is a lot of support for local business here.
It very much is the definition of businesses supporting businesses.
That’s why YOU ARE INVITED to the latest business education session presented by the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust.
Join the Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust in the Gloucester Main Street Training Room (located in the Main Street Center) on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for “Let’s Get Visual,” a dynamic visual merchandising session led by three very successful and business savvy women – Katelyn Spera, a visual merchandiser, Margie, Johnson, a retail consultant, and Courtney Adkins, a retail trainer.
Their mission: refresh your love for marketing the visual appeal of your store!
Katelyn will help attendees think through how to create the right look, without breaking the bank or busting your budget (helping you look good and keeping your costs low for your customers). She earned her B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and has worked with several national and regional retailers including J. Crew, Anthropologie, and Urban Outfitters. She believes in providing a high impact but low budget approach when it comes to visual merchandising.
Margie’s passion is for growing businesses no matter their size. With her infectious go get ‘em attitude and enthusiasm for helping people, she inspires and challenges her audience to create personalized solutions that work. Her presentation will motivate you to make exciting changes to your shop that you wouldn’t necessarily think to make on your own.
Courtney’s zeal for helping businesses started after graduating from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Retail. She worked side by side with Margie for six years and began her own division, Shop Talk II, where she continues to help businesses design and execute a retail plan. She has experience in retail and service industries. Recently, she spoke at the National Main Street Conference in Seattle.
BONUS: while all businesses in the region are invited to attend, Main Street businesses who come will have a chance to win one of these exciting opportunities:
-window display that will be matched up to $150
-same-day visual audit
-complete storefront window makeover.
