Artist Daniel Robbins embraces history and the spirituality of the water and the Richmonder combined both to win Best in Show at the Gloucester Arts Festival, which was announced at the Plein Air Art Gala held at the private estate Sussex on the York River on June 11.

Artist Steve Prince will join artists in brightening the downtown sidewalks of Gloucester on Saturday, June 12, during the Gloucester Arts Festival’s Paint Main 2.0 event. The monthlong celebration that kicks off on June 3 with a sculpture unveiling in Gloucester Village includes multiple free offerings, but tickets are needed for Cocktails in the Garden on Tuesday, June 8 and Meet the Artists at Brews & Brine on Wednesday, June 9.
