“The Buck Stays Here” Holiday Campaign Returns

We're back and doing it again! Chesapeake Bank is partnering with the Mathews County Economic Development Authority, Mathews Visitor Center, Gloucester Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Preservation Trust, the Gloucester Main Street Association, and Xtra99FM as part of Chesapeake Bank's annual "The Buck Stays Here" Holiday Campaign to boost the local economy.

Together we'll bring $28,000 in shopping dollars, which we will convert to $50.00 gift cards and sell for $25.00 each at various pop-up events in the community (Two card limit per person).

This year's events will take place from November 15 through December 20.

• 11/18 @ 9:00am Chesapeake Bank, Mathews

• 12/3 @ 1:00pm at the Holiday Open House on the Tabb House lawn, Gloucester Courthouse

• 12/12 11:30am Gloucester Point Shopping Center, Gloucester Point

Events usually have a line in advance and sell out quickly, but they're high energy and a lot of fun supporting our wonderful locally owned and locally operated businesses. Rain or shine.
