Main Street Businesses And Professionals Honored By Gloucester Chamber Of Commerce At Annual Awards Banquet

We are delighted to announce and celebrate three Gloucester Main Street-based businesses and one professional who were honored by the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce at their annual awards banquet and gala on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Kelsick Specialty Market was named the 2018 Small Business of the Year, the Fairfield Foundation earned the 2018 Non Profit of the Year title, NNK Popcorn Bag took home Best New Business of 2018 and Samantha George Smith, owner of Split Enz Salon and a member of the Gloucester Main Street Board of Directors, was named the 2018 Professional of the year.

Kelsick Specialty Market

Fairfield Foundation

Established in 2000, the Fairfield Foundation began with a focus on archaeological research and public outreach at Fairfield Plantation in Gloucester County, the prominent seat of the Burwell family, and home to generations of other families, both free and enslaved. In 2010 they purchased the 1930 Edge Hill Service Station on Main Street and transformed it into the Center for Archaeology, Preservation, and Education (CAPE). www.fairfieldfoundation.org
