BEER GARDEN 2023 IS ON TAP
Gloucester Main Street Association is once again excited to host the popular Daffodil Festival Beer Garden on Saturday, April 1st from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Versability Resources Lewis B. Puller Center, located at 6632 Main Street in downtown Gloucester Main Street.
The Daffodil Festival Beer Garden coincides with Gloucester County’s Daffodil Festival held April 1st and 2nd which includes a wide variety of events offered, including a parade, live music and entertainment, children’s activities, and much more.
Jennifer Dutton Haggerty, Executive Director of Gloucester Main Street Association, is excited to welcome folks downtown with all the various activities the Daffodil Festival brings, but of course, can’t wait to see everyone at the Beer Garden!
“Last year was a great first year back into holding this beloved event, but we can’t wait for an even better and bigger time together! So many people look forward to this fun event, including our own Board of Directors and volunteers. It’s always a great time bringing the community together and making new friends!” said Haggerty.
Something NEW this year will be for the first 700 beverage ticket purchasers! They will receive a fun event cup courtesy of Stroud Architects + Associates and also a stylish event koozie, courtesy of Alistair J. Ramsay Land Surveyor, which will be perfect for those canned ready-to-drink options! This year’s beer garden will offer a variety of domestic and craft beers, in addition to hard ciders, available to guests at $7 a pint. Guests are invited to spend time at the beer garden, enjoying food from two area food trucks: On the Flip Side, offering American-Asian cuisine and Get Cheesy, which will delight your palate with numerous styles of grilled cheese sandwiches. Beer garden guests will also find a few select vendors, including one by VerAbility Resources, make sure to visit their Able Acres! Live entertainment will once again be provided by local reggae band STUCK ON A NAME!
The Daffodil Festival Beer Garden not only welcomes thousands of visitors to enjoy beer, live music, and local food, but profits also support Gloucester Main Street Association and contribute to a strong financial foundation for downtown events and marketing efforts in support of the downtown business community. Once again, we are thrilled to THANK the beer garden’s title sponsor, ASBURY ELECTRIC, each drink purchased gives back to downtown.
“Asbury Electric loves Gloucester folks!” said Daniel Smith, Owner of Asbury Electric. “The daffodil festival is so much fun and is my favorite event because it’s spring! Come out and enjoy some great music. It’s going to be the best one yet!”
“We’ve had a wonderful time partnering with Gloucester Main Street Association in the past with the previous two years’ of Beer Garden’s during their Last Call Before Fall event and this very same event last year, that we decided to sponsor it again! It gives us a chance to meet and hang out with our neighbors, and to give our neighbors a chance to learn about who we are and how much we care,” said Smith.
