Celebrate the season in the heart of downtown Gloucester! On Saturday, December 6, Main Street will be filled with festive cheer during our Holiday Open House.
Spend the day exploring your favorite Main Street shops, where you’ll find one-of-a-kind gifts, warm welcomes, and local treasures perfect for everyone on your list. Capture the joy of the season with photos with Santa at The House of Ren from 10 AM–1 PM. Families can also take part in holiday favorites like the Gloucester Main Street Gratitude Tree and Letters to Santa. And don’t forget to let the little ones enjoy the Kids’ Activity Center at Santa’s Workshop on Sander’s Lawn, filled with festive crafts and fun.
Festivities continue throughout the day with the Gloucester Resource Council’s Festival of Trees and Common Ground and the Christmas & Holiday Parade presented by Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism at 3 PM. The celebration concludes with the Cook Foundation’s annual Tree Lighting around 5 PM, bringing the community together for a magical finale that lights up Main Street with holiday spirit.
