Gloucester High School Homecoming

Gloucester High School Homecoming Parade will take place on Thursday, September 28th . The parade

starts at 5:15pm at Main Street Center and makes its way down Main Street ending at Botetourt

Elementary School! We are honored to have Dr. Walter Clemons as our Grand Marshall this year.

Come out and support the Dukes, see the fantastic school and community organizations, and view the

amazing floats designed by our students. Following the parade, the Duke’s Touchdown Club will be

hosting a Bonfire at the Moose Lodge at 7pm. There will be music, food, and fun!

Additionally, the Homecoming game will take place Friday, September 29th. The GHS SCA is sponsoring

the tailgate before the game from 5pm-7pm. A DJ will be playing fun music and different school clubs

and groups will be hosting activities and selling snacks like snow cones and walking tacos. After the

tailgate head over to the field to cheer on your Gloucester Dukes as they take on the Menchville

Monarchs. The halftime show will be spectacular as we crown this year’s Homecoming King and Queen,

and watch a performance by our award winning marching band.

The grand finale of the week will be the annual Homecoming Dance held at the high school from 7-9pm

on Saturday, September 30th. Only current GHS students may attend and tickets must be purchased

online prior to attending. For more information, please contact Leslie-Ann Sturtz at leslie.sturtz@gc.k12.va.us.
